Former Whitehouse Cat, Socks, Dies at 18

The First Cat of the Clinton administration, Socks, has passed away from cancer at age 18.
Socks came into the Whitehouse as Chelsea Clinton’s pet, and then lived with Bill Clinton’s secretary Betty Currie after Clinton left the Whitehouse in 2001.
The Clinton family released the following statement: “Socks brought much happiness to Chelsea and us over the years, and enjoyment to kids and cat lovers everywhere. We’re grateful for those memories, and we especially want to thank our good friend, Betty Currie, for taking such loving care of Socks for so many years.”

Please Help Dusty the Cat

Below is a picture of Dusty the cat. Sometime over the weekend of Feb. 14/15, someone uploaded a set of videos to YouTube that showed two teenaged boys abusing this poor cat. YouTube has removed the videos, as they violated their terms of service, but copies are available across the Internet, and we have linked to two below. Please, viewer discrection is advised. These are graphic videos that show this poor animal being tortured.
We need to help bring those responsible for Dusty’s abuse to answer for their crimes.
If you know anything about these kids or this abuse, please help Dusty.

UPDATE: Kids have been found, arrested, and charged with 2 counts of animal cruelty each.
** During the investigation, another video was discovered that showed abuse to yet another cat! **
